Who says that no one sends postcards anymore? I just received a wonderful one all the way from The Virtuous Women's Bakery in Ghana (Africa), where three awesome bloggers (also known as #teamhonk) have been witnessing all the good work that Comic Relief has been doing over the last 25 years. Being Spanish, of course I had never heard of Comic Relief or Red Nose Day until (I think it was) my second year in the UK so I'm talking 1998.

Dear Maria
Having
an inspirational time in Ghana. Mothers and baby (check out the little
feet!) at the Virtuous Women's Bakery and creche. The women make bread
and sell it in the community while their children can play in the
nursery. Their new oven was funded by Comic relief meaning they can
scale up production and make more money selling more bread in the
community. Financial independence is key to raising women's status and
reducing poverty in society.
Love Penny
