Ingredients for 1 person (see instructions below for 2)
1pitta breadwhite or wholewheat
½ballfresh mozzarellapulled apart into chunks by hand
1tablespoonred pestoor green if you prefer
4sprigsfresh parsleyleaves only unless you like the stems
Instructions
Slice the pitta bread in half unless it’s one like the one I used which is large and already sliced for easy access.
Open the pita carefully to reveal the pocket inside and spread the pesto over one of the sides (inside) then add half of the mozzarella then the parsley on top of the mozzarella.
Place the stuffed pita on its side on the crisper plate of the Ninja Crispi’s small glass base.
Air Fry function 4-5 minutes, flip once if you are around to do it. This will depend on how melted you like your mozzarella.Making two pittas? Use the large glass base, you may need to add 1-2 minutes air frying time.
