Quick, non-messy way of cooking sausages. The Ninja CRISPi makes it easy and the glass base washes really well both by hand or in the dishwasher.
In non-stick air fryers, it's normal for the grease from the sausages (and bacon, etc) to leave a residue over time. Just like in your normal pans.
It's also easy for it to get to the heating element which can be complicated to see / reach in other types of air fryers, but not in the CRISPi.
Tip: after cooking sausages make sure you unplug and, once cool enough, give the PowerPod (lid) a wipe to keep it clean. A bonus of it being a lid is that you can reach this easily.

Ninja CRISPi Air Fryer Sausages

- 1 Ninja Crispi Air Fryer
Ingredients
- 6 sausages your favourites or whatever is on offer 😉
Instructions
- Place the six sausages in the small glass base of the Ninja CRISPi Air Fryer, on the crisper plate. Best way to lay them out is 4 sausages in the middle and 1 at either side, like in the photos.
- Air Fry function for 15-20 minutes. If you have a meat thermometer, make sure they have reached 75℃ (167℉ if you're in the States). Flip the sausages at least once during this time so that they air fry evenly. Total time will be dependent on thickness.
- Tip #1: some sausages can be ready in as little as 12 minutes and at the right temperature but they might not be very browned or crispy on the outside, the sausages in this photo were air fried for 12 minutes. Chipolatas should be done in 12 minutes.
- Tip #2: want to air fry more than six sausages? Use the large glass base of the Ninja CRISPi, you might need to increase the time.
