This easy Ninja CRISPi Air Fryer Salmon with Cherry Tomatoes is ready so quickly and seamlessly that you'll be able to just sit and rest with a nice drink while it cooks.
Our air fryer of choice for this recipe was the Ninja Crispi, which we absolutely love but you can cook it in any air fryer so we provide instructions for the Ninja Crispi but also for other air fryers. All air fryers vary, of course, the good thing about the Ninja is that the glass container allows you to keep an eye on progress.
The burst tomatoes add amazing flavour to this simple dish and the citrus flavour just goes perfectly with fish.
We served it with pressure cooked sticky sushi rice and long-stem broccoli steamed in the Always pan but it's perfect as is too for a light meal.

Ninja Crispi Salmon with Cherry Tomatoes
Equipment
- 1 Ninja Crispi Air Fryer we include instructions for standard air fryers too
Ingredients
- ½ lemon unwaxed, zested and juiced
- ½ lime zested and juiced
- 300 g cherry tomatoes or baby tomatoes, approx 30 tomatoes
- 4 cloves garlic or 2 plump ones, like in the photos
- 4 fillets salmon
- 1 teaspoon mixed herbs
- ¼ teaspoons sweet smoked paprika
- 2 pinches salt I used fine pink Himalayan salt (Maldon salt would be great too)
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to the air fryer in order mentioned. If your air fryer has a removable crisper plate / tray with holes, I recommend removing it. No need to stir or mix.
- In Ninja Crispi use Air Fry function for 10 minutes followed by the Roast function for 5 minutes. Let it rest for 1-2 minutes before removing lid and serving. Add more time if not fully cooked, this will depend on the size of the salmon fillets. For a side of salmon, you'll need to add about 5 more minutes but it will be delicious too.In other air fryers, 10 minutes at 180°C (355℉ if you're in the States). You can start either with skin side up or down, flip the salmon fillets twice throughout cooking. If you want the skin crispy, keep skin side mostly up for the duration.
- Tip: You can serve the tomatoes as is at the end or blend them into a sauce. We served as is as we love the flavour of air fried baby tomatoes
