Delicious recipe for Chicken Fajitas in the Ninja Crispi Air Fryer. Super quick and easy, just add all ingredients, mix well and cook.
This is a great recipe to use the full functionality of the Ninja Crispi by preparing ahead, popping the lid on and storing in the fridge until ready to air fry or even just air fry now and store in the fridge for later. Add a few minutes to the cooking time if air frying from the fridge as it the glass base will be cold and heat will take a little bit longer.

Ninja CRISPi Chicken Fajitas Recipe - Air Fryer
Equipment
- 1 Ninja Crispi Air Fryer
Ingredients
- 600 g chicken diced or cut into strips or a mixture of both
- 1 red pepper sliced into strips
- 1 yellow pepper sliced into strips
- 1 red onion sliced into thing wedges
- 3 cloves garlic chopped
- ยผ teaspoon sweet smoked paprika
- ยผ teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 lime halved
- Salt
- Pepper
- 1 dash soy sauce or coconut aminos
- 1 dash fish sauce
- 1 teaspoon avocado oil
To serve
- Tortilla wraps two per person
- Fresh coriander chopped
- Soured Cream or plain Greek Yoghurt
- Grated cheese we use mature cheddar cheese
- Chopped lettuce leaves sweet gem or iceberg for example
- Guacamole we didn't have any this time so not in the photos, in our case it's optional
Instructions
- Add all ingredients into the big glass base of the Ninja Crispi without the crisper tray, drizzle with the juice of half a lime, mix well.
- Programme Roast 20 minutes, stop 3-4 times to move the ingredients around so that they cook evenly. Don't forget to press the Start button again so that it continues.
To serve as fajitas
- In the Ninja Crispi itself: Warm the tortilla wraps either by placing the crisper tray over the chicken with the wraps on top and Air Fry for a couple of minutes.
- On the stove: heat a dry frying pan over a medium heat and heat the wraps 2-3 at a time for a couple of minutes turning them over a couple of times. You can also bulk heat them and keep the lid on to keep them warm.
- Serve with the warm tortilla wraps, fresh coriander, soured cream (or plain yoghurt), grated cheese and chopped lettuce. You can also serve with lime wedges for each person to drizzle if they fancy.
- We put each ingredient in bowls and let each person make their own fajita by placing a wrap on their plate, topping with their ingredients folding in either one or two opposite sides and wrapping well. I fold in two sides then wrap well so that it doesn't fall apart in my hand but I am very clumsy!
Notes
How to serve
Great as fajitas but also great just with rice or stirred through pasta.
Storage
Chill and store in fridge for 2-3 days.
How to reheat
Wrap the chilled chicken in a tortilla, place on the crisper tray of the small glass base of the Ninja Crispi if you're only reheating one and Air Fry for 5 minutes, seam side down first then flip. If not fully reheated, add time.
The Recrisp function also works well for this so give them both a go and check which one you prefer.
Can I cook this recipe in my Air Fryer?
This recipe was created specifically for the Ninja Crispi but you can totally cook it in any air fryer, the temperature to use would be around 180-200ยบC (350-395ยบF).
